Why the Emmy Award Winner is Uniquely Qualified to Lead as Founder and President of Next Content Labs
Today’s wealth of platforms and possibilities make it easier than ever for organizations to produce and publish content. However, stiff competition makes it more difficult than ever for that content to get noticed. The Next Practice launched Next Content Labs to develop strategic, short-form content solutions and quick-turn videos for businesses, non-profits, healthcare systems and individuals to help clients across Next Practices Group stand out from the pack.
We are pleased to have a media luminary guiding the way. Emmy award-winning producer, Chris Martin, will provide expert direction as Next Content Labs’ Founder and President. Chris’ role at Next Content Labs is the most recent in an impactful career that has helped open dialogues and minds.
Highlights include Chris' 14-year tenure as a producer on the venerated news magazine “60 Minutes”. After CBS, Chris went on to work as a producer for The Oprah Winfrey Show, working closely with the inspiring host and her guests. In 2014, he founded the strategic marketing and communications consulting firm LEVER.MEDIA (formerly CAVU Media Works) where he worked with numerous companies to help hone messaging, solve communications challenges, and elevate brands and public profiles. Chris has received a Peabody Award and four Emmy awards for his work in broadcast television. Most recently he won two Emmys for his work on documentaries, “Lone Star Crisis” and “Faith and Firepower”, which examine national issues through a local lens.
Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a unique ability to produce content that inspires empathy — a key element of education and connection in a divided world. Legendary reporter and anchor Dan Rather, has said of longtime “60 Minutes” collaborator, Chris, “As a professional, he is exceptionally hard-working, he has limitless creativity, and he has a relentless focus on quality. He also has world-class experience and a justified reputation for exceeding expectations.”
Chris’ work is a testament to my belief that great content can build bridges of empathy across divides. He is uniquely qualified to drive innovation in human storytelling at Next Content Labs and we look forward to seeing what clients can accomplish with Chris at the helm.
