AP Moeller Maersk / CSR Strategy

In 2012 the global shipping and energy giant AP Moeller Maersk undertook a review of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. One aim was to explore how CSR investments might deliver greater social impact by leveraging them with commercial investments and linking them to commercially scalable strategies.

The Next Practice joined with UK-based C&E to develop a ‘shared value’ strategy for the CSR department, which included a more specific investment strategy for one of the company’s high growth country markets.
